Marquise S. Hunt is a proud native of Hampton Roads, Virginia. He is currently a student at Tougaloo College in Jackson, Mississippi, majoring in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations and Journalism.
In 2016, Marquise became the first freshman to hold the position of President of the Tougaloo College Chapter of the NAACP. The chapter was able to successfully be a partner in the #IAmAnImmigrant campaign which encourages all Americans to celebrate the monumental contributions that immigrants have made—and continue to make every day.
In 2017, Marquise became one of the youth organizers for the ‘March on Mississippi’ which was a campaign launched to allow the employees of Nissan (Canton, MS) to decide without fear and intimidation to be represented by a union while ending voter suppression at Nissan and all employers across Mississippi. The Tougaloo NAACP also stood with the family of Emmett Till in February 2017, in response to Carolyn Bryant’s new response saying that her statement in 1955 that was the driving force behind the murder of Emmett Till was a lie.
In 2017, Marquise became President of the Mississippi State Conference Youth and College Division of the NAACP. He is always excited to serve in any capacity within the NAACP as this is an organization that he genuinely loves and cherishes. He hopes to continue to the legacy of fighting for equity and justice in this 100 plus-year-old organization.

Ahmad Jackson Jr. was born and raised in Harlem, New York, where he developed a sense of admiration for black ingenuity, culture, and history. At his alma mater Eagle Academy for Young Men in the Bronx, he was often challenged to explore his ancestral roots, and find ways to impact his community, and eventually the world. He has participated in groups tasked with rebuilding community centers and schools in Nicaragua, journeyed through concentration camps with Holocaust survivors and community members in an attempt to grasp ways that our communities could learn from the experiences and take accountability as bystanders, in addition to participating in the Nazareth College Living Legacy Pilgrimage Civil Rights Journey in 2019. As a 2019 graduate of Nazareth College, with a Major in Legal Studies, and a Minor in Anthropology, Ahmad looks forward to utilizing his upbringing, expeditions, and varied experiences in his path to becoming a judge.
Latrice Johnson is a spring 2020 graduate of Tougaloo College; having obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Pre-Law. Throughout her undergraduate matriculation, Latrice was an active member in multiple campus organizations and held internships with social justice and civic engagement organizations. In the spring semester of her freshman year, Latrice began serving as a Vote Everywhere ambassador and campus team lead for the Andrew Goodman Foundation. In this role, her team focused on voter registration and voter education. Also during her freshman year, Latrice began working with the Veterans of the Mississippi Civil Rights Movement and would continue to work and serve both the Veterans and Vote Everywhere for the remainder of her time at Tougaloo. Recently, Latrice completed internships with One Voice MS and the Reuben V. Anderson Center for Justice/Public Policy Institute; both grounded in the many facets of social justice. At present, Latrice is working to share voter engagement and education strategies with current campus leaders ahead of the next academic year and upcoming election.
